What is Sulfadimidine?

Sulfadiazine sodium is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, which has inhibitory effect on most gram-positive and negative bacteria.The antibacterial principle, competes with aminobenzoic acid dihydrofolic acid blocks the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid, thus affecting the synthesis of nucleic acid and inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria.After internal administration, the product is absorbed quickly and excreted slowly, with a low rate of acetylation and a high effective blood concentration for a long time, with little side effects.
